Apple Ads Smart Brief Post - 2/28/2019

What's up guys!   All the attention in the tech world right now has been all over Samsung because of their revolutionary new 'foldable' phone. However Apple has been doing a lil sometin sometin in the background. We all know Apple has a massive in house ad agency. Its the size of a small agency at least. So as they grow they need to develop and be managed. In this instance Apple stole a Facebook idea which was to update their partnerships in their search ad department.  The reason of the importance of this is that Apple previously only had mobile measurement partners on its page, which provide tools to measure, analyze and optimize app install campaigns. Coupling mobile measurement partners with campaign management partners is a very clever idea and now that they have done it, their advertising department could become even more successful. I love Apple and I will never under any circumstances switch brands so stay strong Apple and stay strong Apple Ads. Good work!!!!! P

Mars Rover Smart Brief Post - 2/21/2019

What's up guys!   So this week I have a very personal and sad goodbye to say on my blog. The Mars Rover is officially the longest lasting robot ever, on another planet. It's incredible the amount of high quality data the rover managed too discover over the last 15 years. Helped us learn more about Mar's past which allows us to forecast the Planet's future. The Mars over might go down in history as one of the most significant robots ever, if humans end up populating Mars. If people end up on the red planet, a big reason why it happened would be this small, seemingly insignificant robot. Everyone will forget it began a path and humans followed. This is especially sad for me because I remember faintly the time period it was launched. It launched when I was about 6 and my little sister had just been born. I was crazy into astronauts and I remember getting some type of space model for my Birthday that year. The news of the abandoning of the rover is just sad cause its

Salesforce Smart Brief Post - 2/14/2019

What's up guys!   Im out here another week doing this again, as usual. So, today's topic, the Super Bowl and the results from the ads. The tallies are in and the winner is BUD LIGHT!!!!! "Salesforce employed Einstein Vision to track social sentiment for brands during the Super Bowl, and its research finds that Bud Light was the most talked-about brand during the big game, with 22,500 mentions." Bud light did an amazing job collaborating with HBO's 'Game of Thrones'. These made their outreach much larger, the moment the audience heard the theme song in the ad they would make their link and that is very powerful.  Bud light really hit it out of the park in this Super Bowl. They have this amazing mid-evil theme to all their ads and these ads hadn't ever made a media 'SPLASH'. They finally paired their normal not so special ad and found a very powerful piece of content in Game of Thrones. It's so simple yet so good and the effect it

Instagram Smart Brief Post - 1/31/2019

What's up guys!   Happy late 2019 everyone. Finally have time to start my weekly blog. I hope you guys enjoy! I'm very passionate towards advertising and I like thinking about it as a science. I like breaking it down, bits to bits. I chose an article about Instagram stories and new updates that are coming. The article is on Mark Zuckerberg as well. Instagram has over 500 Million users a day just on their stories. Thats a huge channel within Instagram itself with a wide range of eyes on you. Since Facebook owns Instagram and they basically controls it. This  shows Facebook is self-conscious about how its user base is shifting away from its classic social network and towards Instagram and its messaging apps.  By investing more and getting more involved with instagram they can become an even bugger  conglomerate. This over extremely important to the advertising world. Social media is a huge advertising gate. In my startup all we do is advertise on social media platforms IT&

T-Mobile Smart Brief Post - 2/7/2019

What's up guys!   Starting my second blog of the year and Super Bowl weekend just happened. Being an AD major, I look forward more to the ADs than the game itself. This week Im looking at one of the most successful ADs from the Super Bowl. The T-Mobile Social-First Strategy was very simple yet extremely effective. I found this topic through an article from SmartBriefs.com. They had some interesting insights. The article mentioned that they kept it simple with the message.   Are you with us? You should be. T-Mobile has always had a reputation for a strong & stable brand image. This AD  demonstrates their consistency. The article also hints on how their CEO John Legere plays 'an integral part' in the companies brand image . I believe that T-Mobile is continuously having a subtle but effective effect on the advertising industry. This year's Super Bowl proves that between telephone carriers they are at the top when it comes to advertising. I feel that they will k
